    I have Windows XP on my computer. Can anyone tell me how to get rid of those balloons that pop up from the taskbar? Thank you very much.

    If you're not comfortable editing the registry, you can download a small script (610 bytes) from Doug Knox's site to do the editing for you. Being the rather lazy sort, that's what I used and it worked as advertised. I have used numerous scripts from that site. All have been safe (virus free) and all have worked.
