Backup Hardware Drivers

I was thinking of backing up the hardware drivers. First off is there any advantage to doing this for future use. Secondly where do I find this info.

Yes there is, but you would need the setup software for them, and that doesn't come with drivers that are already installed. If you were to update a driver, you would download the setup software and you would save that as you would the setup software for applications.

This question would be addressed by taking an image of the OS, which I responded to in your other thread on backing up the Hard drive.

The free trial only works for a few days. I have an older freeware version of the thing. I've never had to use it for reinstall.

 

Download this file and open it. Run the executable inside to save all your drivers, or just the non-Microsoft ones, to the folder of your choice:
