 While browsing my Startup Menu tonight (had just d/l Tweaking Toolbox for Windows from Windows-Help.NET) I noticed a few apps/programmes of which I am totally unfamiliar. Can anyone bring me up to speed on the following:
    b3d Projector
    imesh ads support
    kazaa ads support

My reasoning is that if I don't know what these apps are or what they do then it must be ok to delete them? Faulty Reasoning????

Any and all input/direction will be much appreciated.

    b3d Projector Overview

iMesh and Kazaa are file-swapping programs similar to Napster. Both install spyware.

I'd suggest downloading Lavasoft's Ad-Aware program. It searches for spyware and gets rid of it. As for iMesh and Kazaa, if you don't plan to be exchanging music and videos, they're expendable.

Check for them in the Control Panel's Add/Remove Programs list first. It's best to uninstall them using their own routines if possible.

    Thanks for the input Doc!
Now, can I just delete all the references to 'b3d' without any repercussions in my system? As I stated, if I don't know what the app does and I don't use it then I may as well just get rid of it! Any further thoughts/advice?

Once they've been officially uninstalled, hunting around for leftovers is a good way to kill an hour or two. :D
