Axfreeporn auto-dialer

I've recently picked up this little naughty file that disconnects me from the internet, then tries to dial it's own number. I'm guessing that this number is some **** number or something...but anyways, I have tried with several programs to get rid of this auto-dialer. I have noticed that several other members have the same problem, but they are probably more computer inclined that myself, so if anyone knows the solution to deleting this file , please put in simple terms as to how it is to be removed.

Here is how we like to begin our analysis of your pc:

For starters, if you do not have them yet, please DL and run AdAware & Spybot Search & Destroy. AdAware and Spybot Search & Destroy are 2 of the most trusted apps in the security area. They are both free, compliment each other nicely, and do not use a lot of resources. They can be found here:

Spybot Search & Destroy v.1.4
AdAware SE Free v1.06r

With AdAware and Spybot: DL, follow the install instructions, check for updates, then scan, repair/remove/quarantine anything found. Reboot before next scan with whichever app is next. The reason for running these apps, is to clean up some of the other 'crapware' on your pc, which, in turn, will make deciphering your HJT log, easier.

Then we use HijackThis v1.99.1.

Please download HijackThis! SetUp from here. Save the file to your desktop.

Double-click the HijackThis! SetUp icon to begin the installation. Follow the prompts for the default install location of:'C:\Program Files\HijackThis'. Tick the 'Create a desktop' button when the option appears. Select next, then allow HijackThis! to start.

Then press the [Scan] button. You will notice the [Scan] button will turn into a [Save Log] button. Click the [Save Log] button and notepad will open up with the contents of the scan. Right-click in the saved log, and select 'copy'. Then proceed to your original thread, unless otherwise instructed and click the '[Reply]' button and paste the saved contents to be reviewed. Do not make any modifications to the log or perform any 'fixes' until told to do so.

Someone will be along to look at your log soon as possible, we appreciate your patience. Remember, we are ALL VOLUNTEERS, those of us who help. And we do the best we can to answer posts as soon as we can. Logs are generally looked at in the order in which they are posted.

I don't mean to be impatient, but just curious..is anyone actually looking at this? I was one of the first to report this almost a week ago and I'm really thinking of just reformatting my hard drive so there wont be this stupid thing lurking around. If you have not already done a scan with AVG Antispyware (or don't have it), please do the following.

Please download AVG Anti-Spyware to your Desktop or to your usual Download Folder.

• Install AVG Anti-Spyware by double clicking the installer.
• Follow the prompts. Make sure that Launch AVG Anti-Spyware is checked.
• On the main screen under Your Computer's security.
  • Click on Change state next to Resident shield. It should now change to inactive.
  • Click on Change state next to Automatic updates. It should now change to inactive.
  • Next to Last Update, click on Update now. (You will need an active internet connection to perform this)
  • Wait until you see the Update succesful message.
• Right-click the AVG Anti-Spyware Tray Icon and uncheck Start with Windows.
• Right-click the AVG Anti-Spyware Tray Icon and select Exit. Confirm by clicking Yes.

If you are having problems with the updater, you can use this link to manually update ewido.

Download the Full database to your Desktop or to your usual Download Folder and install it by double clicking the file. Make sure that AVG Anti-Spyware is closed before installing the update.

Close ALL open Windows / Programs / Folders. Please start AVG Anti-Spyware and run a full scan.

• Click on Scanner on the toolbar.
• Click on the Settings tab.
  • Under How to act?
    • Click on Recommended Action and choose Quarantine from the popup menu.
  • Under How to scan?
    • All checkboxes should be ticked.
  • Under Possibly unwanted software:
    • All checkboxes should be ticked.
  • Under Reports:
    • Select Automatically generate report after every scan and uncheck Only if threats were found.
  • Under What to scan?
    • Select Scan every file.
• Click on the Scan tab.
• Click on Complete System Scan to start the scan process.
• Let the program scan the machine.
• When the scan has finished, follow the instructions below.
  IMPORTANT : Don't click on the "Save Scan Report" button before you did hit the "Apply all Actions" button.
  • Make sure that Set all elements to: shows Quarantine (1), if not click on the link and choose Quarantine from the popup menu. (2)
  • At the bottom of the window click on the Apply all Actions button. (3)
• When done, click the Save Scan Report button. (4)
  • Click the Save Report as button.
  • Save the report to your Desktop.
• Right-click the AVG Anti-Spyware Tray Icon and select Exit. Confirm by clicking Yes.

Scan again with HijackThis and place a check next to the following entries, then click Fix Checked.

Close HijackThis

Download SDFix and save it to your Desktop.

Double click SDFix.exe and it will extract the files to %systemdrive%
(Drive that contains the Windows Directory, typically C:\SDFix)

Please then reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following :

Restart your computer

After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, tap the F8 key continually;

Instead of Windows loading as normal, the Advanced Options Menu should appear;

Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode, then press Enter.

Choose your usual account.


Open the extracted SDFix folder and double click RunThis.bat to start the script.

Type Y to begin the cleanup process.

It will remove any Trojan Services and Registry Entries that it finds then prompt you to press any key to Reboot.

Press any Key and it will restart the PC.

When the PC restarts the Fixtool will run again and complete the removal process then display Finished, press any key to end the script and load your desktop icons.

Once the desktop icons load the SDFix report will open on screen and also save into the SDFix folder as Report.txt
(Report.txt will also be copied to Clipboard ready for posting back on the forum).

Post the contents of the Report.txt

download temp2.exe from below and save to the desktop. Double click then click Start to extract the files to a temp2 folder. Open and double click the temp2.bat file. Post the contents of the temp2.txt it creates.

Suggestions 4 Slaying the AXFREPORN Dragon

1) Disconnect UR modem connect becuz its in a constant state of dialing and reboot

2) After th reboot, delete the modem connection "AXFEEPORN" frm yor network connections folder in uR CONTROL PANEL. It must shw 'disconnected "!

3) Go 2 UR desktop where the "Titty" Icon is and find "TARGET ICON" This will show what folder the program is lurking.

4) Jot dwn all files with the following: file prerfixes:

11742XXXXXXX.XXX

5) Each/every file with the above code must be deleted frm UR ,machine. Use whatevr register cleaner U have 2 ensure registry integrity. (Do a files/folder search with above prefix and delete (U should find 4-7 entries)

6) Havent't had a prob in 3 das after performing the above. Any questions contact me. Be advised...scanned system with NORTON/VCOMM/MCAFEE ...they couldn't find Help!

we did this day before yesterday on friends computer. thought it was too easy after seeing all long steps here. was waitting for to make sure.

we did almost like you. removed dialer in full mode with cable unhooked then did all rest in safemode used regseeker to find all individual files, then a full reg clean.

While multek's method may stop the dialer for a time, it will not help to clean out the other infections that accompany it, and are likely the doorman for the dialer, nor will it help to restore the legitimate files replaced by the other infections. Thanks for your input multek, but I do recommend that you and bbbobins both take further action against this threat.
