Autofills everything with + signs

    I'm having a weird problem with my computer. When I open any text document (Word, Notepad, even Dreamweaver), the computer starts starts entering an endless line of + signs. Same thing with form fields; if I click inside one, just an endless row of + signs. This "bug" may leave me alone for ten minutes or even an hour but always returns and makes it very difficult to get anything done.

    Norton says my system is clean, as does Ad Aware and Spybot (most of the time). Has anyone ever encountered this before? I'm running XP Home on a P4 2.5 gig machine.Thanks.
