When I start my computer, "autoexec.nt" is not present.

I make a new file, restart my computer and the file is missing again.

I get a message error when trying to run a DOS-program, and even "command.com" gives an error message.

I have run Spybot, AdAware and NAV with latest updates.

I will try to make the file write protected to see what happends.

    Any solutions ???

Are you editing the autoexec.nt file in the Sustem32 folder?

Really helps if you mention the exact verbage of the error message.

With Win2K you probably want to be running cmd.exe rather than the older command.com program unless you have some really ancient program that requires the older version and those are really rare these days.
