need a little guidance in setting up a message that will reply to a sender that you are not available. so in other words if i am leaving for vacation and somebody sends me an email i want my system to kick back an auto message saying i am out.

i'm pretty sure this can be done but not sure how to do and my search efforts arent paying off.

I was going to suggest pretty much the same thing but Christer beat me to it. You might want to consider a change to the rule though. If you get a lot of spam you might want to change the first part of the rule from "for all messages" to "where the from line contains people ". If you do this you'll be able to select the people you want to reply to. You can select everybody that's in your address book if you want. This way you won't be replying to a bunch of spam emails. Also, when you get back, don't forget to delete the rule or it'll continue to send replies to whoever you selected in the rule. Don't know if this fits the scenario or not but I thought I'd mention it. Something for you to think about.
