Ever since I installed my Cannon Digital camera and card reader I get an annoying pop up window that says AutoPlay with a flashlight sweeping back and forth as if it is looking for something to play. It pops up about every 2 or 3 minutes. I went into the card reader drives E,F,G and H... Properties, selected auto play tab and noticed that I can select Take No Action. My question is I am given several options:
    Music Files
    Pictures
    Video Files
    Mixed Content

Do I need to select Take no action for all of these or just the pictures since it is a card reader for my dig cam card?
    Thanks!
    Jodie

    Jodie,

I would select 'Take no Action' - no doubt you prefer to open the card in Windows Explorer and copy the files to disk from there. If you select Pictures it will open some applet in Windows - don't remember which one, but it's not really what you want.

Is 'Open Folders to View files' or similar wording not an option too ? - that would be fine too.
