Auto launching

    For some reason all of a sudden my system launches IE with out me doing anything. I can be running in an application and without any notice it does its thing and bingo I'm connected to IE. What did i louse up to cause his?

    What version of Windows & IE are you using?

    Do you have any software programs, such as Virus Software, Update Programs, etc. that may have been inadvertently set to automatically connect to obtain updates?

    Rod: You were right on. I found a program that did automatically connect to try and obtain updates. Thanks for your help.
