AOL Broadband Networking

Okay so here it is

i just got another comp for my house and now i want to network them

i have

-2 computers (duh)
-aol (modem)
-aol ethernet wire
-router
-wires to each computer

so what i have right now is this ......

Aol broadband is supposed to be able to network on 1 line,

now for the problem it doesnt work when the are both connect to the router and try to connect, it says that the ppoe(something)

anyway im gonna try again if it still doesnt work i will come back with the exact definition of the problem

I hope you have solved the problem. Otherwise, please back with some detail information and model of the router you are using.

 

yah the pic is beautiful

well after about 10 min after that post i realized that i should pull it all apart and shutdown the comps the put it back together.... and it worked =)

 

AOL also has something called Network Magic. It's a free download. It simplifies the whole process. Check it out.
