Aim 5.9?

    I'm using AIM 5.5 and am wondering if I should upgrade to 5.9. I read a post where a user had problems with it crashing and had to go back to 5.5. Has anyone here tried 5.9 yet? Is it stable?

    Please no slams on AIM. I realize it's a krappy program, but many of my friends use it and I have no interest in the AIM substitutes because you can't log in under different SNs at once with any of those.

    The latest versions of AIM have spyware. I never use it but my kids do and I have them running an older version w/out the spyware.
