I moved my profile from one computer to another and it appears that everything moved in total but my address book is short a lot of names. How can I correct this and get the rest of the names into the address book of my new computer? Also what files or file is the address book and I assume it is located in my profile? All the files in the old profile transferred to the new computer by drag and copy.

You are the one who knows what happened, i.e. do you have Address Books which were imported or not? I am using only the Personal Address Book. There is no sense, to me, in have another one for Collected. This is what is given you.
If you use both, they may named "abook.mab" and "abook-1.mab ", and imported address books are impab.mab, impab-1(or-2,-3,etc.). mab.
If you had only the Personal and Collected, you would have no impab file, but I would have my doubts that there is no imported AB.
Drag an d dropping is not a good idea, because when you do that, you may miss and lose everything. The proper way is to Export from your Address book each individual address book as .ldif file, which can stored on the hard drive, placed on a disk, and then Imported into the new AB. And, each .ldif file can be named to something less obscure than you see on the hard drive.
So, if you are done satisfactorily with a method which I would not recommend, except for the address book files, look for impab files, or another abook file.

Thanks. Question does this work? I copy my profile folder like once a week so I always have a copy of it. Than when I transfer to a different computer or get a new computer I put the profile folder on the new computer's hard drive and create a profile in the new computer and give that folder as Mozilla's profile folder. However sometimes it works and like this time it didn't so I dragged and dropped the folder on top of the default folder. Everything worked fine but not the address book. Give me your opinion on the way I did it or tell me the best way of moving the entire profile to another computer. Thanks
