I have a Server running Windows 2000. I am unable to launch "add and remove" in the control panel? I try and click on it and it just sits there and does not launch? I have re-applied my service pack but this did not help. Has anyone seen this before that could help? I have several configurations that I need to do and it involves removing software which right now I am unable to do.

    Thanks

Try Q266668 or install/reinstall IE5.5/IE6 or find the uninstall command for your programs from the registry key
    HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion \Uninstall

Its not a IE problem so am not sure that would help. I am actually trying to uninstall SQL SERVER ANALYSIS services. I tried running setup and thought it might give me the "uninstall" option but it did not. I was also trying to get "add and remove" back to ma functioning state rather than just per program? Would I be able to remove this software through the registry?

    Thanks

IE is a core component of Windows. See Q265829

Thanks , that did the trick. I guess I underestimated the power of IE. I was unable to find anything in technet or on google about this problem. Thanks you made my day:D
