What port number does Active Directory use? I've done the old Google search and it came up with port 389 and port 3268, I opened those ports on my firewall, but I still can't add new computers to the sever, unless I full disable the firewall.

    Where is the DC?
In the DMZ or on another LAN?

Both the server and the clients are on the same LAN. I can't even log on to the server from the clients if the server's firewall is close.

    I don't quite understand.
    Where is the firewall located?
If there is a firewall it should be between the LAN and WAN. Not on the LAN between the DC and the clients.
