Resolved ActiveX is Bugging me

    I get the following notice when I start some Applications.
    Internet Explorer. Do you want to allow software such as ActiveX controls and plug ins to run?
    I sometimes have to click Yes or No several times to get it to go away. I searched for ActiveX and found nothing. This is bugging me.

    Check out ....

    IE > Tools > Internet Optons > Security tab - Internet > Custom and scroll down to Avtive X and plugins and check the settings.

    This is based on IE8 - please post your OS and version of IE, otherwise we are guessing.

    My OS is Windows XP SP3. IE is 8. This problem started about 3 days ago. Since I went to IE, Tools, Internet options, looked around, and the problem went away. I did not know
    ingly make any changes.
