Lately I having been having trouble with Active desktop.
The icons are showing but the wallpaper is white!
I have been into settings & it shows on their computer that the Windows wallpaper is being used. (this is whats supposed to be showing) but it's pure white. The Apply button is not highlighted and the size isn't highlighted either.
Its like when you are cut off from the I/net but the instructions on how to Restore my Active Desktop are not showing. Any help would be great.

I think I saw you posted in the 98 forum also, so will assume this is for 98. The wallpaper color may have just gotten changed. Click on the appearance tab, Windows standard scheme should be showing? Under items, select desktop then select the color you want for it and save as the same scheme, then apply and OK to exit.
