I have Windows XP on my computer. Can anyone tell me the easiest way to get to a URL box from the minute I turn on my computer? Thank you very much. Stang

From the minute you turn on your computer? It can't display until Windows is loaded and running since it's a part of Windows.

You can, however, put the address bar on the Task Bar so it will be available anytime the Task Bar is...which is all the time if you don't have it on Autohide.

To do that, right click an empty space on the Task Bar. In the menu that opens, go to Toolbars and in the menu that open, click on Address.

To Miz: Thank you for your message. I right-clicked on an empty space on the Taskbar. I went to the Toolbar and on the menu that opened I did not see the word "addressâ€. Please advise. Thank you. Stang

Thanks, Whiskeyman. I no longer have an XP system available to double check before posting.

I did check on Windows 7 and Address is still an option on its Task Bar so I foolishly assumed it was available on XP, temporarily forgetting that assumptions about Windows versions is never wise!
