When creating queries in Microsoft Access, what needs to go in the criteria when you want to search for something over/more than the value?. E.g. Dates after 17/07/85 or numbers over a certain value.

Generally... you can use a 'greater than' sign ">" (without the quotes), but the answer is probably not that simple. I would suggest that you go into the Access 'Help' files and search for 'queries' and 'criteria'. You will find a lot of information about the different types of queries available in Access and how to use them. HTH
