I received this email. What do you gurus think about downloading it?

    ****************************************************

Is Someone Breaking Into Your Computer Right Now?
Every time you browse the Internet, send e-mail, or submit any private information to a web site, you broadcast your computer's unique IP Address over the Internet. With this IP address, someone can immediately begin trying to break into your computer without you even knowing it! Until now, there has been no way of telling if this has happened or any way of stopping it! Well not anymore!
What can happen if an intruder breaks into my computer?

Steal Your Credit Card & Personal Information!
    Read Your E-Mail!
    Plant a Virus or Worm!
    Steal Online Banking Information!
    Delete files from your computer!
InternetALERT is an invaluable tool for you and your system. It will notify you if someone is trying to break in to your computer, stop them dead in their tracks, and even build a visual map showing you the Attacker's ISP (Internet Service Provider) allowing you to visually see where they are located and report them! You can now browse the Internet with the comfort and security of knowing that no one from the Internet can access your computer without your knowledge or permission!

    Thanks Daizy!

I remember that little monkey very well.
I couldn't write an email without that little booger butting in. ;)
It took a spell to get rid of him too. :)

    Yer Welcome Molehill! :D
Do consider Zonealarm. I've used it for years and wouldn't be without it.....even though I'm behind a router that has it's own firewall. Zonealarm still catches the stray bugger that gets through. :)

But, but, but ... Daizy, I do find it surprising that you're unwilling to trust your online security to the people responsible for the wonderful BozoBonzi ... erm ... BonziBozo ... erm ... BozoDummy .... oh, whatever it's called. I mean, internetALERT costs money ($49.00 per year to be precise) so it follows that it must be a better product than (free) ZoneAlarm ;)

Ohhh but, but, but.....I DID have Bonzi Buddy, about 4 years ago, before I knew what spyware was...and I had the very funny fird that used to sing
"Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer do!
I'm half crazy all for the love of you!
It won't be a stylish marriage,
    I can't afford a carriage.
But you'll look sweet upoon the seat
of a bicycle built for two!
    ..." to me! :D
