7njl1 Apogee

    Hi all.
    Just after a bit of helpfull knowledge, i recently purchased a new mother board and im trying to find out what cpu i can put in it. its a APOGEE 7NJL1 version 1.0 i think. the pc shop was closing down and i managed to pick it up for £5.00, although there is no manual or disk. i thought id take a chance.
    i have had it running an athlon 1.3 for a few weeks and seems ok.
    so if any one with any know how of this mb could give me a few tips,
    as in compatable ddr, what is the highest cpu (without over clocking).
    and any known issues with the mb.

    any help would be great.

    Hi thanks for info, but i forgot to mention I'm a bit of a newb, i couldn't find anything on the site to tell me what gig CPU i can have, or what make of ram is compatible. Although the site did prove useful for drivers and manual.

    If you look on pages 7/8 of the manual the CPU/s are listed there .....

    Fastest ....

    1.3 GHz Duron

    1.4 GHx K7

    2.167 GHz Athlon XP 2700+

    2.2 GHz Athlon (Barton) XP 3200+

    For compatible memory go to http://www.crucial.com/uk/index.asp and run your board through their memory selector.
