After I tried out Ubuntu and it didnt work right but now after trying to fix my net on both. I after installing Ubuntu couple of times and failing to get the net to work I installed 32 bit Windows Ultimate and not getting the net again I installed 64 bit again. It finally made my net to work but after rebooting again it freezes at the desktop image. How can i fix this soon.

Did you repartition & format the drive? Have you installed all drivers?

Yep I did both of that and the drivers I couldn't install all of them because the drivers they have on the CD need to restart before i could install all of them.

    Try starting from scratch again.

First you should install the chip set drivers, then video drivers. Also make sure you have the latest downloaded from the manufacturers web site.

Their could also b a BIOS update that needs to be performed.

I got Vista to install and work properly. Does this mean I need discs or a new dvd reader maybe.

No. But I'd run the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor to double check your hardware compatibility.

There's a 3850 PCIE listed as compatible in Microsoft's HCL, so make sure you got the latest driver.

Ok it is my disc drive half the reason why windows 7 wont install right so it wont load right. I had my drive cost installing a game 3 times so I will be buying a new dvd drive along with a few other parts to improve my computers life.

Yes... all disks degrade over time... and having scratches/fingerprints on the disk also won't help.

So clean the disk first, then try another one.
