    Hi,
I have windows xp pro 64 bit version with 4gb ram installed.
My BIOS sees 4gb but the computer only sees 3.11 gb
What can I do to fix the problem?
I have messed around with page file setup and PAE but all I have is the same result.

Are you sure you have XP x64? The reason I ask is because that OS does not support nor require PAE. Also the amount memory being reported does suggest a 32bit OS

What does windows report when you run winver from Start > Run?

Did you have Windows installed before you increased your memory to 4GB?

Well, not sure what to say. WinXP x64 is (or rather was) just a stop-gap OS to get something out for x64, I'd never suggest anyone actually try using it.

I'd go to Vista x64 instead.
