    Hello all,

This will be long, please be patient.....

I have Windows Small Business Server 2003 ready to install on the following machine:

    Dual 1 gig cpu's
    2 gig ECC ram
    1 45 gig hard drive ( c:\ 10 gig d:\ 35 gig )
    4 80 gig drives on raid controller 2x2 mirrored ( e:\ )
    1 floppy
    1 cd-rom
2 nics on server gigabit on lan side, standard on wan side

I want to setup on c: but point the program files to d: ( Exchange,
SQL Server 2000, ISA 2000, ect. and all of the shared user files on e:. Also will put backups on e:
Is this the most logical way for this setup?

Also would like to know.......If I setup ISA 2000, do I still need my Linksys router as a firewall? I will need to connect for email ect. while on the road. ( Outlook 2003 )

Sorry....one more, when I installed SQL 2000 the first time, everthing was fine until I applied the SP3 patch, it brought the whole system down........................

    Thanks,

    Tim

Not tonight. This one calls for a little thought and at 1am, too late for thought. Tomorrow probably.

I know very little about SBS 2003, but I believe it comes with SQL 2000 SP3 already installed. Along with some hotfix's for SQL.
