2000 Outlook Password Issue

    Need help with 2000 Outlook password issue. I am using 2000 Outlook mail on my XP Home SP3. Problem is that the password is required each time I send and receive mail. I have set and reset the password, check the remember password box, etc. What is the problem here? Thanks

    I think that if you delete the account and then add it back in the problem will go away.

    I have deleted and created a new profile, but same problem. Need more, thanks

    When you put in the password - is it accepted and you send/receive mail for that session?
