All right, I'll give it a try. the problem was the cable went into the harddrive with zero resistance so it didnt feel like it was the wrong way...
I recently purchased the Fantom GF1000EU 1TB 7200rpm HDD. I've had no problems with it, and up until this point would say it's a pretty solid HDD....
