    Resolved Delay in Closing IE8

    I've been using IE8 for about 2 weeks on xp without issue. Lately, it's taking about 5 to 10 seconds to close. Any ideas why this is happening?

    [Does IE8 modify desktop icons?]

    I'd like to try IE8; am using Firefox 3.5.5 now. But IE7 had a habit of modifying my desktop icons, which I personalize. Unless IE8 leaves them...
