Peter C, Thanks for all that. I got that far and deleted in/out boxes but when re-opening OE I still could not delete subsequent in/out messages...
Recently in my Toshiba Laptop OE does not allow me to delete any in/out messages. A dialog box indicates "not enough memory" which is impossible....
