    I am using Norton Internet security,- nothing else. I should have mentioned that I had numerous freezes, requiring shutdown prior to the problem....

    xp pro, sp2 windows seems to work OK- Office and games work. IE and other programs that use IE for updates don't. IE seems to run but shows only...
