    Check if RPC (Remote Procedure Call) service is running - at least problems with Copy/Paste/Drag&Drop are usually related to this.

    How to change HDD drive letter assignment?

    Try diskmgmt.msc, it may work (Start>Run>diskmgmt.msc). You can change drive letters using context menu there.
