A short while ago I was able to play my YouTube downloads on the RealPlayer as usual I exited the program for a short bit when I came back the video was fine but there was no sound. It was maybe a 20 minute interval. I checked the sound on other apps and it was fine with VLC for example played it. But RealPlayer worked one minute the next minute it did not.. I made no changes to the system or to RealPlayer. Just took a supper break. Any advice would be grateful

Just wondering, is there a need anymore for Realplayer? I have not come across a .rm multimedia file in over a decade. VLC plays everything.

Verify that the realplayer icon exists in the mixer. It should have a separate volume control in the mixer.
