Windows10 keeps changing my home page after update

    The strangest thing keeps happening after some updates , when i restart my computer it says it cannot log me in and defaults to a different desktop with most items missing, if i then go back to a previous image of windows and then reinstall the updates it behaves okay and loads my usual desktop, any help would be very welcome, I am using Start10 to give me a desktop like win 7 could it be causing the problem ? I am using 20H2 ( build 19042-1288 )
    Any help would be very welcome

    I would stop using the Start10 app and or create a new user profile while you can.... The profiles can do get corrupted.

    Based on my experience with Start 8 and currently Start 10 I think it unlikely that it is the source of your problems. I have had no issues since the release of Windows 8.

    I have uninstalled Start10 and deactivated the license i have then re-installed Start10 and reactivated the license and at the moment it seems to be okay so i will wait to the next major updates to see what happens many thanks for your replies i will let you know what happens
