    Hello,
    Is there a way I can set a range of cells e.g. a column in MS Excel such that whatever is entered is automatically converted to uppercase without my going back to "manually" convert using say the UPPER function or other method?
    I would like to type "fred" and see "FRED" in the cell, just like when I have added BOLD and RED format to a column, whatever I type in there turns out BOLD and RED.
    I imagined it would be somewhere under text format but had no luck. MS Excel 2016 doesn't even have [Change Case] button like MS Word.

    I'll let YOU figure out the details.

    In Cell-> A1 type: fkaramagi
    In Cell-> B1 type: =UPPER(A1)

    Cell B1 will look like FKARAMAGI

    Two other options are =LOWER() and =PROPER()

    This is the "manual" way I would like to avoid.
