Apparently, Adobe will be ceasing development of Adobe Flash on December 31st and is asking that everyone uninstall it from their system (see link below).
I've just done so, using the official Adobe uninstaller. I then restarted my computer and did a search of my computer to see if there were any remnants of Adobe still there. I found several folders each containing material (each 28MB+) which you can see on the attached image. I presume that they're doing no harm being there, but am wondering if I can just delete them.
By the way, my Chrome browser still works perfectly in displaying content as does YouTube.

    Really?

I have not myself installed FlashPlayer on my Windows 10 (currently version 2004) systems, one Pro and one Home but FP is there on both of them. Well, it must be because the most recent update KB4580325 was installed on 2020-12-07. However, there's a way through Windows 10 to uninstall the update but I can't find FP listed among the programs with a possibility to uninstall it.

The only way would be to download the uninstaller from Adobe but is FP installed on my systems or not?

Is it, somehow, "integrated" in Windows 10?

There is an update to Windows 10 that uninstalls FlashPlayer from the system. It can be downloaded at KB4577586 but I wonder if this update will get installed (FP uninstalled) via Windows Update without any action on my part? Time will tell!

    From the KB4577586-article:
It seems like it has been "integrated"!

Yes. I remember W10 was to have it as part of the OS.
I've seen the advice from Adobe some time back and figured there was no need to rush in and get rid of it immediately.
I will worry about when I have more time.

I'll wait until the first batch of updates in the New Year. If KB4577586 isn't one of them, I'll run it manually.

:Just went to look and see if I had KB4577586 and also don't see it. Do see where MS on 10/30/2020 installed a security update for Adobe Flash and that is the only trace that I see of it.

It wasn't installed by default on any of my systems. I downloaded and installed KB4577586 manually. After that, the only remnants of Macromedia that I could find were in "C:\Users\MyName\AppData\Roaming\" which (the Macromedia folder) I promptly deleted.

If you have installed FlashPlayer yourself, you have to download and run the uninstaller from Adobe.
