HP PSC 2210 All in One (Yes, old!) has started giving error message that says "Photo card is in backwards. Have black label face right." I understand the message, but.....there are no photo cards installed in any of the 4 available photo card slots! Nor has there been for quite some time. I have powered off, removed/reinstalled to PC, etc, but the error remains. Even worse now, I can no longer print to the device, in spite of the fact I did just yesterday. I have two documents in the queue but nothing I do will make them print. Oh, and drivers appear to be the most current.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated

Kill the two docs in the queue and try to print a small doc.

I thought, hm, let me try to copy something. Put a paper on the glass and hit Copy. The two documents in the queue printed, and I was able to print other docs. That said, the error message remains, and a little orange light is blinking in behind the photo card slots.

Unplug Power source for printer and leave for at least 30 seconds.
Connect Power supply and check to see if the indicator has cleared.
Another way to clear the printer memory is to switch off - then depress the start button and the paper feed button at the same time for 2 to 3 seconds - then release both simultaneously.

Sorry, what do you mean by the 'paper feed button' on an HP psc 2210?
