I have a Seagate 2TB external hard drive I've used for several years to back up my desktop. I connect it to the computer occasionally for this purpose. Recently it said it was 96% full. Can I just delete all but the most recent backup file to make room to continue using it?
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

If your computer is working fine now, and you don't see any reason to go back further than the last backup, then sure you can delete all the older ones.

Make sure that you know what you're deleting. If you have complete (full) images, all but the last can be deleted. If you have incremental images (subsequent changes only), the whole chain from the last base image to the last incremental must be maintained for the last incremental to be restored.
