I have installed Outlook 2007 on the Windows & platform. Reminders of appointments and tasks no longer pop up on the screen. I do see the to-do bar on my Outlook screen, but no longer receive any pop ups as I did with Word 2003. Is there any way to make this happen? I did a google search but one option is not supported and the other (Growl) appears to involve cell phone use. I want this option on my PC.

The setting is a bit buried.
From the top menu select Tools – options – other tab – advanced options (under general) – reminder options (at the bottom)

Make sure – display the reminder is checked.

When I show the TODO bar for reminders, it tells me that " this operation failed , an object could not be found". This message does not tell me anything more about the problem.
At the bottom of my calendar when I display it there is a message reading "there was a problem reading one or more of your reminders some may not appear". Nothing indicating where or what the problem is
I assume this is why my reminders are not displaying but I have no clue as to why or how to figure it out.
At this point I am missing any reminders that are past the time and day as there is no longer a reminder even showing in the Todo bar. I can see it in my calendar but that is not helpful , I need the notifications and a way to postpone etc. Ie the way it used to work or an equivalent.

Google the error-> there was a problem reading one or more of your reminders some may not appear

And read the suggestions to fix it.
