My windows Mail Accounts appear to have been made into Linked Boxes, this causes difficulty with my mail notifications. Procedure please, as to reverse notification of Windows Mail format back to individual Mail addresses.

Hi Bobby, another Google brings this answer:
    To unlink a linked inbox:
    1. Click/tap the "gear" icon in Mail.
    2. Click/tap "Manage Accounts"
    3. Click/tap the linked inbox you wish to unlink (it will appear next to an icon of a linked chain)
    4. On the window that comes up, click/tap the "Unlink inboxes" link.

  3. to hide this advert.

RL thank you for response appreciated. Link is somewhat different from my make up. Using parts of it, solved it, and now my e-mail is back to normal, thank you. There is one other query, posting a new topic is not showing on my WindowsBBS screen, requires some searching to find it out. Any suggestions?

Did you Refresh the page after Posting?
Did you select the correct Forum entry?

RL, Opening Windowsbbs now requires me to click sign in each session, click the box and enter. In addition now requiring me to click Forums (new, to previous sign in)) then click windows 10, showing new Post New Thread. This has happened only this week.

Bobby, when signing in, there is a check box (if I remember correctly) which asks to remember/keep logged in.
Are you saying that the Check box is not working?

Have you intentionally or by mistake, in the browser, changed cookie settings? If you have set it to clear the cookies after each session, it can't remember your logins.

Christer, thank you for response. A program that is in use for checking computer is set to delete cookies by default, but this has been set over a long period and did not affect WindowsBBS before now, thank you for pointing this out to me.

    BobbyScot, you're welcome!

I never use those programs but I would think that after a "clean up", the first revisit to the forum would require a relogin but not at subsequent visits, until you do the next "clean up".

I have set Firefox to delete browsing history when shutting down. I initially set it to delete cookies too but that made sites, requiring logging in, to forget me. For the reason of convenience, I leave cookies alone.

Christer, for some reason, I am required to sign in and click remember me each time that I login into the Forum and each time requiring several attempts. This is not a real problem, as I really enjoy my contacts with the Forum members with seeking their help.

Hi Bobby, I have just Unpinned my BBS Tab from my Address bar - Restarted the comp and opened WindowsBBS as a guest.
I had to Login/Sign in with my email address and Password again.
You are asked if you have an account.
Click on that radio button and you may/will have to enter your email address and your user name and your Password may be required.
Stay Logged in should be checked before you click on Login!
I opened WindowsBBS following the above details - Pinned the BBS Tab - then Closed and Shut down the comp.
I then Booted the comp again and opened my browser and clicked the BBS Tab on the Address bar and I was logged in as normal.
It worked for me so what are you doing wrong?

RL, like yourself, I am puzzled. Until now, I had no problem of signing in to BBS. Now, each time presented with black coloured small window with my user name and password pre-entered, ticking box to keep me signed in. Clicking said box logs me in as a member of BBS of many years. Am I, alone in having to sign in this manner as a Guest?

After you get past that page and you are all the way in here, bookmark the page and see what happens.

Mr Bill, excuse my ignorance on this, how do I go about with "Bookmark", as I have never used it, but have heard of it. Your help will certainly be appreciated.

RL, I use both IE 11 and Microsoft Edge, though I prefer and more at home with IE 11.

I'm wondering whether Password Saving is turned off in IE 11.
Password saving is on by default in Internet Explorer, but here's how to turn on or off password saving:
    1. In Internet Explorer, select the Tools button , and then select Internet options.
    2. On the Content tab, under AutoComplete, select Settings.
    3. Select the User names and passwords on forms check box, and then select OK.

RL, thanks for pointing it out. I have checked, Password on forms is checked.
I note that I am accepted as a Guest until I click Sign in and box remember me is clicked.
