    Hi guys

This time i was trying to upgrade from v1803 to v1809 using the latest win 10 update assistant. I have used this assistant on two other machine, it was good, fast and no hiccups.

This time, the assistant started & completed the downloading & installing and at the final stage
says the v1809 build 10.0.177763.1 is "Not Current" and suggest i go to KB4464619.
I don't understand this at all as the v1809 is from ms website and i cannot fathom the to go as it leads to no where. Googling for it leads to a fruitless solution.

    Any thing to share?

I think i know why, the assistant which i took a copy a month ago is no longer there. The current assistant will say my 1803 is current

For sharing: even upgrading from v1709, the same error message appeared. In the past i can update from v1709 to v1803 but not now.

I guess the assistant only try to use the v1809 update. Just got to wait as ATM this is the status, i guess.

My 1809 update, less said the better, each time I open up computer, there has been a change to my computer, or a file has disappeared, thanks Microsoft. Last week, it was necessarily required to reinstall Windows 10 caused by the mess computer was in. I wonder why MS stopped downloading 1809 for two weeks - still nasties are appearing.

My new PC build is running 17763.168 without any problems.

My insider build is running 18290.1000

If you ar having problems with 1809 I suggest making sure you have all the updates made to 1809:
These are cumulative updates, so if you download the last one KB4469342 you should be all set.

Checking the above updated KB4464330-455-708, Microsoft advises not to install. My setup has no reference to them. BB4464342 was installed a few minutes ago by Windows Updates.

These updates are cumulative, so since you now got KB4469342, you have the files for the others as well.

I stand to be corrected, it should be KB4469342 and as Arie points out this update cancels out the others. Thank you for pointing this out.

I am not so lucky, one or two forced changes on me and two databases removed, luckily had two copies made and stored on not connected HDs. This proves that you can not make enough backups.

    MrBill,
Thought I would point out that your link in #16 says the update "...-is-now-on-66-percent-of-windows-10-pcs/". However, when you go to the link, the actual figure is 6.6%. Reading the article cleared it up for me though.
