Just remember this is for those who have signed up for the Windows Insider program and have installed Insider Preview versions of Windows. It does not affect normal Windows 10 users.

I know. I was just afraid someone reading the thread title might get confused.

Just got the dreaded message today Bill. It was in fact downloading the latest version 182960.1000 while displaying the message.
Winver now tells me that this is an Evaluation Copy and it Expires 6/07/2019 @ 10.02am.
I have this on auto update so I figure that the message will be a fact if you don't use auto update.;)
This Post is on my Insider comp.:D

I am sure there will be another update before 7 months passes.

Yes I expect there will be no change to the delivery of builds which are normally on a weekly basis.
I found it amusing that the message should appear while I was getting the latest build. I could imagine some users would panic
and start looking for a newer version to install and be unaware that things were happening as normal.
It took most of the afternoon to get the download installed and setup - so I just left the comp alone until it had finished finalizing. All sweet again.
I would ask the question of MS - why advise an expiry date and then download the latest build as usual?
I also found that the Insider builds I received worked well without any bugs that the average user would pick up.
My builds all worked 100% for me (all 92 of them).

I sure wish this was the most instinctive, intuitive action every user applied for almost any computer problem - just leave it alone for awhile and see what happens. Windows is actually pretty good (and has been for years!) at sorting itself out if just left alone.

A simple reboot is another common fix. If leaving the computer alone for awhile doesn't sort things out, a simple reboot (hopefully, proper "Restart" through the Start menu) often will.

Instead, too many people immediately move to drastic measures - like reinstalling Windows because "one" website with "one" browser would not load or "one" game would not play even though all other websites, browsers, and games worked just fine. o_O
