100% disk usage for a good 30min!!

    My Laptop boots up really fast but my disk usage is up to 100% for a good 30 min and I cant do any thing and its taking longer every day to calm down.. I open task manager and most of the time it is coming back as the system that is eating up my disk usage.. every thing is shut to off at start up.. I have run chk disk comes back good. run virus and mail wear scans all come up good.. my hard drive is less then 3 months old and I upgraded from a hdd to a ssd drive.. I'm at wits end.. Any ideas what's going on ?

    When you have task manager open, on the Performance tab, at the bottom click on Open Resource Monitor. Select the Disk tab and check what is using your disk drive.

    Please update your System Details so we know what SSD we're talking about.

    storage info updated in my profile.. 432gb free of 476gb and under resource monitor the big one I see was compattelrunner.exe..

    Ok guys..
    I started doing some digging with the resource monitor and found out my problem is with one game I play and one game only.. as soon as I open the game it runs disk up to 100% and will stay that way for up to a half hour.. but as soon as I close the game out disk usage gos back down to 0% and it only does it with this one game..
