My partner wishes to share her music, which is on icloud, with me who uses an external hard drive connected to a Lenovo ThinkPad running on Windows 7 professional. icloud will not even shew her music to her when accessed from this computer. Does anyone know how to do this? All the music belongs to her and is bought and paid for.
Thank you for the link, retiredlearner and, since the question on that link has been unanswered for nearly seven years, it doesn't look like there's going to be an answer any time soon. This is one of the reasons why I personally, will have nothing to do with Apple products as they lock you in to their systems and preclude the outside world. Very blinkered, I fear. We finally used a Dell laptop with an old version of itunes, called up all 14,700+ tracks and copied and pasted to a specially prepared folder on a 1TB 'Passport' external hard drive. It took over three hours but we managed.
Phew! I agree with your thoughts about Apple Was always too expensive for the average person - but peer pressure works wonders. My eldest grandson was OK with the Samsung Galaxy S4 until his college mates told him iphone was better A 2nd hand one for $600 and he can be accepted by his mates. Glad to see you got sorted i the end.
