I think I have caused a problem with IE and links from my emails etc,
After the latest update of win10 whenever I clicked on a link it would bring up the Documents folder and ask to link to a program so I linked it to iexplorer.exe and since then whenever I click on a link it just brings up my default Google.co.uk page rather than take me to the linked page
Hope someone can help many thanks in advance for all replies

It would be helpful to know which email client you are using.

Outlook 2003 strictly speaking is not compatible with Windows 10, but can be made to work . Your issue may be addressed in the following thread .....

Thanks alboy but the latest KB4032188 makes the OS Build 15063.502. Pete's answer is probably the reason as MS advised some time back that Outlook 2003 would be absorbed.

I think I will just stick with copying the link into IE by hand as I do not receive many emails with links , many thanks for all your help
