I have an HP tablet running Win10 Home 64 bit. It has a 32GB SSD and I installed a 32GB micro SD card, which shows up as D:. I've had an update to 1511,10586 fail six times since April, and this morning an error message told me that I needed at least 20GB free space for the update. On one previous update, a dialog box allowed me to use my micro SD card for additional memory. Not so this time. Even if I deleted all installed programs, I doubt I'd have enough room. I currently have 3.4GB free on the SSD. What's a person to do? :( Maybe a 32GB flash drive?

Still, that is likely what you need to do - or at least move your installed programs to your SD card. What you may also end up doing is replacing the 32GB SD card with a 64GB or 128GB.

You would think after 8 months, someone would have come up with a fix for that. :(

Pete, thanks for the link. My problem is that the update never starts for lack of sufficient disk space. Windows alone takes 18GB on my 32GB SSD and that's after uninstalling non-Windows programs. Microsoft support says my 32GB micro SD card can't be used and I should contact the manufacturer. HP says it's a software issue. Ya gotta love it. I'm convinced this update won't go, and maybe subsequent updates that require this one.

Just download the ISO to a 4gb flash drive and install it that way.

    Good advice from MasterChief.
My Asus Transformer Netbook has a 29GB SSD yet I managed to install 1511 with no issue - from a DVD via an external DVD drive - as I recall.

Good news. Where can I get the ISO? I'll search the internet for it, but a link would be helpful. And why didn't Microsoft Support have this information?

Once again, thank you PeteC. I found the ISO on another site, but will keep this link handy.
