    Windows cannot load the drivers

    I have obtained the driver specs from Device Manager and downloaded but my Laptop continues to indicate its inability to LOAD the driver even though it says my drivers are up to date???

    How can you get the driver specs from Device Manager if the driver is not installed?

    Go to the site I linked above.
    Select the exact model of your Samsung in the list.
    Download the driver installer.
    Uninstall any previous Samsung drivers you installed.
    Install the new drivers.

    Don't want to sound like a smart ass...if I was I wouldn't be hollering for help.
    I clicked on Driver Properties/Driver and it gave me Driver Version
    I did go to the site indicated and downloaded driver installer.
    From what I can understand the drivers are on my laptop but ?????

    Hi roy66, Did you read ALL the Posts in the link?
    There seems to be a problem with Verizon and USB cables supplied by Samsung.
    One guy said that the cables supplied with that model phone were faulty and he used a later model USB cable.
    KIes and Kies Air are also mentioned. Neil.

    Try uninstalling the drivers via Programs & Features. Then install them by rt clicking > select Run as Admin...
