This morning our students using Photostory 3 have found that when trying to open a saved project they are getting a message saying: 'Access Denied'.

Staff are able to access saved projects. I've checked the permissions and the student have full access.

The only thing I can think it might be is something to do with the MS updates that went out to the W7 64 bit machines today?

From other forums it seems to be a known issue with Photostory and W7 I'm going to remove the programme from the affected computers and reinstall the latest version to see if that works.

Seems this excellent freebie from Microsoft hasn't been updated to make it compatible with ongoing Windows 7 updates. I'm marking this as resolved now but in fact it isn't but in reality it seems unlikely to be.

Yep, looks like that could be it.
