A total of eleven security bulletins, addressing at least 23 vulnerabilities have been released this month that resolve security related issues in Microsoft Developer Tools, Microsoft Exchange, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Lync, Microsoft Office, Microsoft SharePoint, and Microsoft Windows.

Five bulletins received the maximum severity rating of critical, the highest rating available for vulnerabilities, while the remaining six received the 'important' rating, the second highest rating available.

Jut got 13 of them. I also reverted back from IE 11 to 10 to get my Gadget colors back and will wait awhile to install it again.

    Hmm.

After the Mal-ware brouhaha on my wife's computer last week I am reevaluating how I set up for privacy and security.

Reading through the info at the links, do I take correctly that as a consumer (as opposed to IT pro, network admin, other) that if I use automatic updates my various computers will be kept abreast of the issues?

Any consumer should have his/her PC set to Auto Update.
