    Not a new delivery James.
Over 12 months ago, 2 very bright lads here in NZ used a radio controlled helicopter to deliver a meal (buttered chicken).
This was filmed on TVNZ breakfast program with hilarious results.
The downdfraft from the rotors created quite a problem and when they finally touched down with the meal - it got blown all over the place. :D

They managed to prove that it was possible to use Radio controlled vehicles for deliveries, but not with a single blade helicopter.

Since then we've seen this technology used with TV cameras being used in Football matches (Rugby) doing fly-overs (with multi-rotored units) around the arena.
Probably developed from seeing drones in use. ;) Neil.

I noticed that these drones have what appears to be eight rotors.

    Amazing.

I've never seen model jets before.

I also saw a link to a scaled-down Concorde jet.

I was flying remote controlled helicopters and would never think to use them for delivery purposes. Someone once told me I had to have brain to be stupid that I was just dumb. Maybe he was right, but, it got him in trouble with his sister-in-law.

That link on YouTube also has the Concorde and a Lancaster Bomber and numerous Jet Fighters on display and flight.
The Lancaster was powered by 4 piston-engined single blade propellers. It was fascinating to see and realize that these guys have spent hours and heaps of effort in their specialized hobby. Neil.

C-17 was a little suspect when it hit vector 1 and on rotation once up she looked like response was good. But the SST was awesome. Thanks retiredlearner. Gave my wife a look her response "NO WAY YOU'RE NOT GETTING ONE! Shucks.

I wonder how much payload those jet engine models could carry? I'd bet a small child could ride in one.

The mind boggles! Imagine Egg Foo Yong delivery colliding in flight with Fish and Chips.
And irate customers being told to pay for a second delivery.
I think I'll stick to home cooking with Nigella Lawson. Neil.

They will have to use stealth drones or pay for drone protection. If you fly through the cloud do you have to pay MS. I can see it now. MS Cloud Coverage 1.1. Available only at The New MS App Store.
