    Hi all,

How can I make Word 2007 print delivery and return addresses without wrapping a section of said addresses?

    Example...

    John Doe
    123 South Anywhere
    Street
    Anytown, USA

Notice that Word has wrapped the word "street" to the next line below. I want to eliminate that without reducing the font size from 12 to 10.

    Thanks.

    You'd need a different/wider label size;)

I'm not making labels. This is for envelope printing.

It doesn't work, I've already tried that.

    Thanks anyway.

After some searching and experimentation, I find that you can fill out the return & delivery addresses then click on the "add to document" button.

After adding to the document, click inside the address box you want to change at the start of the first line and press Ctrl, Shift, S. This brings up an "apply styles" box. Click on "modify ", and then you can decrease the indention by clicking on the appropriate button until the long part of your address fits on one line.

You can then print your addresses on the selected envelope size, or you can print the same on a sheet of paper and trim it to size and tape it to bulk size envelopes (something I do often).

I should have filled out the entire deliver part of the example address, but you get the picture by now.

Special thanks to Microsoft Office Community forums for their help on this.

Then some of the workarounds available to you are to: let it wrap, reduce the length of the wrapped line, reduce the font size, use a different program, or, I suppose you could attempt to force Microsoft to alter Word 2007.

I'm just working within the set boundaries of the software.

There is quite a bit of formatting that can be done to fit a person's needs when it comes to printing addresses. Much more than I first realized.
