Download win 8 pro .iso

As the title says, I want to download the Win 8 pro .ISO to have as a back-up when (or if) I install win 8.1. I have the serial number I purchased from Microsoft, but when I go there it tells me II have no orders. Maybe it's because I bought when it was €14.99. All I want to do is make a back-up DVD It shouldn't be this difficult to do,should it?

Upgrade to Windows 8 with only a product key

Best I could come up with. At the price you quoted, the Upgrade is what you paid for.

I ordered the DVD when I purchased the Upgrade, and was pleased to be sent both 32 and 64 bit versions in the same package. However, the previous version of windows determines which flavor I can install.

That may come in handy if all else fails, but I thought I remembered someone here on WindowsBBS posting a link to all the ISOs for Win 8 .But with my memory that may be completely wrong.I did receive an e-mail with a link to download it and I also made a DVD but for the life of me I can't remember where I put it.(That memory again)Thanks for your help.

I followed the instructions from your links, but after putting my serial number in the box it tells me it's an upgrade serial and I cannot use it. So have I no way to make a disc then.BTW Speccy and Belarc gave me completely different serial numbers. Is this usual?

Thanks for the link, Mark, but it leads to the same error.But it jogged my memory enough to remember that I must have downloaded it from Win 7 and as I had partitioned my harddrive and dual booted the two OSs it must be still on Win7 and when I checked, there it was. So I'm happy and I think I'll mark this as resolved even though it's technically not.
