I have a laptop Windows 7 Home Premium (Service Pack 1) and instead of pad mouse i use a regular USB mouse.

2 days ago the direction of the mouse was starting to "run away "; i don't know how to explain it better other then i could't fully control it properly. When i use it i suddenly see the mouse going on the other side of the screen.

Has anyone encountered this problem? do you think it's because of the USB plug-in?

Sometimes when i enter the USB to my laptop the system does not always recognize the mouse and i have to plug it in in another USB "whole" so that the system can recognize it. Also sometimes when i touch the USB when plugged in the system recognize the mouse as being plugged out, although it is plugged in.

PS: I have never committed any changes to the mouse device, like mouse sensitive or other advance settings.

    Try a different mouse.

I use a blue tooth wireless Laser Mouse, keeps your USB free.
    Works great with Windows 7.

True, but if it has drivers for Windows 7 the chances are very high that it has.

Who is the manufacturer of the mouse and laptop. The system Specs only show that it is a 32bit OS. Doesn't the wireless card need to have Bluetooth technology.

No. It's a $12.92 upgrade on some Dell laptops. Or you could get a USB Bluetooth dongle/adapter for as low as $3.29 (including shipping).
